THE INVITED RAPIST

It turned out the nature of rape as changed.
It doesn't has to be a stranger for it to be raged.
We can now meet them in the circles of our world, seeing the in the circles we frequent for companionship.
We might have been in the public together maybe once,
Maybe with one sip of wine. Hmmm. . .
We might have even considered them as a casual friend,
Having a dance with them just ones
and maybe with a slight goodbye kiss with a closed mouth.

They might be a friend that smells nice,
And look cooler than a shrimp from the bag of ice.
They might be unemployed but look smart and take us out for lunch maybe once especially if considered as an harmless pal
and is no less worthy of being beaten within an inch of their lives.

The stranger we always thought it would be might never show up,
but this considered friend of ours might have walked up to us in the ally.
Even daily on the street to work also at the coffee shop and finally considering them for a dinner at our abode.

Suddenly, the door behind got locked,
And we're left with nothing but scars from our invited guest.
Pains from the considered friend turned stranger.
Being betrayed our own so called 'known'.
Expected, like the stranger we always thought was coming that we will submit to willingly.😥😰
What a shame! We should have known, we, relinquished all personal rights in the presence of those who could apparently be conceded a rapist.
"Had we know" became our daily song,
Just because we've been hatched by a known friend, an Invited Rapist.
