THE GRACE FORETOLD(A poem written by Fadara Mayokun E)

 THE GRACE FORETOLD

Even at my darkest hour
When all seemed blur and tasted sour,
When my tears dropped and fell
Like a raging river and thunder balls,
He dropped the anchor and stopped the wailing.

Even at the deepest point of my motion,
When my emotions formed a great ocean,
The track seems rough in my sight,
Even with the yacht not considering my height.
He's busy with the grace that my sin can't grave.

I've always got thousands reasons to regret,
But He's giving me chances to repent.
Tick-tock, it's counting my steps to the grave,
But He counts not my wasted bait.
Grace, a piece that fortune can't acquire.

Just at the same ninth hour,
When the guard had left their sides unguided,
The same hour, grace found me.
Closing all graves and giving me a course to set.

Right in front Of The glowing stars,
Though some missing, leaving behind scary scars.
Just before the rise of Pluto,
In a race to find a suito'
Seducing me into craving for love,
Luring me to probe the rule I solved.

So I confessed my feelings to virgin Mary,
Telling her the truth that might vary.
Known to me, it's a dead love story,
That ends even before reaching the edge.
Adding to it days with dept,
That needs a sacrificed soul to spare.

So I ran thousands miles,
Chasing after fairy darts
Just to catch up with the kites,
Flying high, up in the sky.

A'las, it's a tear in the dark,
That only the moon can back.
